Essys
Evolving the brand’s digital presence to support multi-location growth while maintaining its established character.
What was happening?
Essys had built a strong, loyal customer base at their original café. As the business prepared to launch a new location in Cheadle, the brand needed to speak to a broader demographic while keeping the warmth and authenticity of the original venue.
The existing digital presence did not reflect the quality of the new venue or provide a clear structure for customers looking for location-specific information, menus, or private event hire.
What was really getting in the way?
Before jumping into design or code, we analyzed the root constraints causing friction.
One brand, two locations
Customers needed a clear way to explore both venues without confusing opening hours, menus, or locations.
Understated digital presence
The digital touchpoints didn’t do justice to the quality of food, interior ambiance, and hospitality experience in person.
Unclear event enquiry paths
Private hire and event opportunities were not structured clearly on the website.
What did we decide to change?
We decided to evolve the digital brand identity to match the higher finish of the new location, introduce a clean multi-location structure, and make menus, hours, and private hire easily accessible on mobile devices.
What we put in place
The practical components and workflows put in place to fix the bottlenecks.
